U-Turn Audio
Bob, Ben and Pete started U-Turn Audio because they believe you shouldn’t have to overpay for a great listening experience. In college, they had to choose between overpriced turntables that they couldn’t afford and cheap turntables that they couldn’t bear to listen to. So they decided to build their own. In 2012, they launched a Kickstarter campaign for the Orbit Turntable, “an all-analog turntable for today’s vinyl listener.” The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. They set up shop in Woburn, MA and have been building turntables ever since. By doing all of their own design and engineering, keeping their manufacturing in-house, and engaging with customers directly, they are able to provide high-quality turntables at affordable prices.
